Last month The Tiger Tales attended the multimedia screening of Show Dogs in London. It was a fun morning out for us. The screening has held at the Vue London. There were craft activities, snacks and photo opts with the cute canine cast. Although, we saw the trailer over the Easter hols we were not sure what to expect. After the kids made their puppy puppets, we headed up to the screening room and slipped into the super comfort seats for the show. Show Dogs is like Miss Congeniality with dogs.

We enjoyed Show Dogs because it’s got humour for all in the family. The Hip Hop and Lego movie references will crack up the grown-ups. When you know you know right?! Kids will get a kick out of the slap stick comedy.

Our Best Bits

Angelo’s Best Bits:  my cheeky chappy loved when the pooches had a ‘pool party’

Valentina’s Best Bits: lil side-kick loved Daisy, she had all the glamour

My Best Bits: I confess I don’t’ know much about Hip Hop but I do like Ludacris. He voiced Max who had all the best lines, in my opinion.

Movie Plot

So what’s it all about? ‘When uptight, stubborn FBI detective Frank is reluctantly teamed with macho, independent NYPD police dog Max to go undercover at the world’s most prestigious dog show and crack a difficult case, neither are paw-ticularly pleased. However, with the help of a powerful pack of hilarious hounds, seasoned animal trainer, Mattie and aerial surveillance from three dedicated pigeons, both Frank and Max start to realise that true friendship can be found in the most unlikely of places and dogs really are a man’s best friend.’

Rapper Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges gives voice to Max the Rottweiler. He’s a street savvy, wisecracking on the beat cop. Frank is usually at the butt of his pranks and jokes.
