During the early days of motherhood, I found it difficult going outdoors on my own with the kids. Nonetheless, I devised ways for us to have fun indoors. Perish the thought that the poor kids were always indoors, far from it. Me and my family and have had many days out and about on adventures, as you may have seen over the years. It’s easier to pick up and go, now that both children now self-sufficient with basic self-care routines. Rucksack on my back and away we go. One pastime has stayed with us from that period; it’s indoor picnics. Recently we have been having variant weather, from snow to rain to snow again. So recently we had one of our picnics, which included Oreo Cookies. Oreo is celebrating The Great Oreo Cookie Quest Challenge a fun and interactive way to win great prizes and this is our entry.
Bringing the outside in
Then we have an indoor picnic, I set up just as we would if were outdoors. Sometimes we have a sandwich lunch, along with pudding and fruits. We do crafts or play games. Our recent picnic was in the afternoon. I arranged flowers, snacks and party games.
We had lots of much fun. It’s the vibe of being outdoors with all the creature comforts of the indoors. Of course, it’s no picnic without cookie and the kids luv Oreo cookies.
Oreos are a fun and tasty occasional treat for the whole family. You may be concerned sweet treats for but rest assured a serving size is just 2 Oreos.
