Since becoming a mum, I confess quite a few of my casual clothing comes from supermarket. Its marginally easier to do food shopping and clothes shopping at the same time. Its a nightmare to clothes shop with two little ones, especially if I have to try on pieces. However, earlier this year I attended an event hosted Marisota and I bought a few pieces from their SS14 range. Their WOW jeans really is WOW! I was sceptical at first about jeans with an elasticated back but they fit good. Marisota has been the first plus size brand I’ve ever tried. I have to say I’m pleased with cut and fit of their clothing. I recently wore my Marisota jeans and blouse for a family trip to Richmond Park. It wasn’t a heavily active outing. It was more like a Sunday evening stroll around with the kids and this Marisota combo was perfect.
Here’s how I styled it my Marisota outfit:
Jeans– Mariosta Truly WOW slim leg coloured jeans £20
Tunic– Marisota crochet trim tunic £35
Hat- Centre Parcs £5
Earring– Meen Clothing £5
Shoe- The Office (jelly shoes from 5 years ago)
The jeans have sown leg seam at the back, along with angled back pockets together they make me look and feel slimmer.I peacock shade is fantastic. Its the first coloured jeans I’ve had since I left my 20’s. I think its a fun and age appropriate. I found it hard to capture the detail of the white tunic. It’s vertical stripes of crochet detail at the front draws the eyes down and also has a very slimming effect. No matter your size, what lady doesn’t like a slimming outfit?! That’s why my Marisota outfit is my pick of the week.
