It certainly feels as though 2014 is in a rush to end. Yet, in the crazy daze of moving house and unpacking we do manage to have family outings. Over the Easter weekend, we took the kids to, Nonsuch Park for mini egg hunt and picnic. I took along a few Sainsbury’s Easter items that were sent to me. We had a lovely time outdoors amongst the squirrels, birds and the odd snoopy dog looking for a treat. Here are a few photos of what we got up to.
The Egg Hunt
Although we had an egg and spoon race essentials kit , I opted to use the chocolate eggs in a mini egg hunt for Angelo. Valentina was happy relaxing with her dad. I take my cue from them on what they are likely to enjoy during play-time. Angelo was over the moon to have the egg hunt. As he’s still quite young, I used little chicks to make a path for him to follow to find the hidden eggs. He found them all except one that a squirrel out to before him.
I like craft but I’ll admit I’m not the best at it. I gave it my best shot using the make your own ‘easter masks’ from Sainsbury’s. Angelo wanted a bunny… phew… I was glad for that I think the lamb or chick might have been fiddlier. The easter craft and decoration kits are a wonderful idea and very cute but clearly as made for little hands. I had a time putting together the little chick hanging decoration. The bunny headband it was a hit with both children. They both had a kick about with their dad and eat chocolate. What could be better than that… Happy Easter.
Please note, this is not a sponsored post. However, I was sent the items shown above to use with the children.
