We had a lovely week but a busy one. I’m still trying to get into the stride of having one child in nursery and the other in Reception class. It means one drop off but to pick-ups, thankfully the school within walking distance. It’s my intention to be more organized but most times I just about miss the mark. The result is I feel as though I’m flying by the seat of my pants but I’m hanging in there. As a family we have fun together, even if things are a bit manic at times.
I’m cheerful because
- I’m grateful for the good friends I have. They inspire me and help me to see the bigger picture.
- Hubby and I have made an effort to have quality time together. It can be a costly because we usually get a babysitter but it’s so worth it. It always feels like we are courting again. On Sunday, due to a voucher we got from our TESCO club card points, we had a gorgeous pub meal in Esher, Surrey. Only had a small difference to pay. RESULT.
- Although my weight loss plateaued this week, I’m now down to a UK size 14! Naturally I had to celebrate buy purchasing a few vital pieces to fit my decreasing frame, such as a winter coat and a dress (for my lunch date with hubby) and a few other bits and pieces.
- We had a couple mild winter days with gorgeous blue skies. Clear blue skies always makes me feel happy
