Time is precious to us mums: time to think, time to care for ourselves, time to eat an in interrupted meal, time to ‘go potty’ ALONE, time to be. On Mother’s Day, I like to indulge in glorious ‘me time’. As a stay at home mum, I’m on call 24/7.  So, while the gift of time is divine, I also relish wellbeing gifts. I’ve put together a Mother’s Day gift guide featuring some of my ole and new favourite beauty and wellbeing products.

If all else fails bath/shower time is a brief moment of bliss for busy mums. Its helps us start the day right or power-down for the evening. I recommend Kneipp Balancing Lavender bath salts  (RRP£8.95). It contains pure natural thermal spring salt, lavender and camphor delivers a soul-soothing experience. It would make an excellent complement in a gift hamper. Weleda is known for their rich heavenly moisturizing shower creams. They’ve put together a mindfulness gift set which includes five 50ml shower creams and a mindfulness colouring book (RRP £17.95). Colour and cleanse or vice versa, just relax.

Once out of the shower, continue the sensory delight by soothing the skin and locking in moisture with Mary Kay’s ‘Be Delighted’ Body Mousse(RRP £12.00)  it’s rich ‘sweetly scented confection’, good for the skin easy on the hips. There’s a matching body wash together they’d make a lovely gift set. A little birdie told me the range sold out in the USA. Get mum’s before its gone. For the mixtress mum there’s Shea Butter Cottage. I’d recommend their Sankofa Gift set  (RRP £10.50) which includes: 1 x 30g unrefined shea butter, 1 x 30g virgin organic coconut oil and 1 x 90g handmade natural. Add mum’s favourite essential oil to the order, then she can mix her own beauty treats for top to toe.
