I love food and I enjoy cooking but I must admit I’m not the best at presentation. Ironically since becoming a parent I cook less but graciously Hubby pulls up the slack. In a quest to resume cooking more for my family I thought I’d join my fellow bloggers from the Multicultural Kids Blog network and for a Meal Plan Monday post. Immediately, I can see the benefits: reduction of grocery shopping stress; less wastage; and a more balanced diet for the family.

Below are the meals  for the week starting 21st October ending on the Friday. I’ve borrowed a few recipes I’ve borrowed from Trini Gourmet (THANKS Sarina!)

Chicken Pelau (without peppers) and fresh salad
Grilled Salmon, Cheesy Potato mash & Spinach
Trini Macaroni Pie with Chicken baked in BBQ flavour marinade & Steamed Mixed Vegetables
Dinner
Italian Style, Peppery Baby Leaf Salad (comes in a pack from grocer) with Tomato, Mozzarella and sprinkled friend, diced pancetta
Salt fish and Fried Breadfruit
